Our app requires background location services permission only because it is required for the continuous background bluetooth beacon scanning feature.
Background bluetooth beacon scanning requires the background location to be always active. We do not use background location services for tracking the user's location.
The app is uses the bluetooth beacon services to scan the bluetooth beacon the user has bought and installed to their vehicle from us.
When the users comes close to their vehicle, the app automatically disarms the vehicle silent alarm which our service and hardware provides.
